@RKRadhakrishn My family paid this during the DMK gov 2yrs ago. We complained directly to E.V. Velu & Ponmudi in person. My father was a DMK Kilai Seyalalar. Both ministers’ PAs said they couldn’t do anything against Murthy because he is close to 1st family. This time, my family voted for TVK.

@Mm53959119 I never said tvk don’t have sponsors. Every party have their own sponsors. Martin is the one who paid 500cr to DMK through electoral bond. Business man , contractors , Bureaucrats are running government more than politicians.

Rest of the party members are neglected from so called 2 major ruling parties. Outsider will do better work or outsider will make u do the work better . Simple 🙌🏻

True, SRH receive massive support despite not having a superstar player or a major brand ambassador behind them.
KKR built a huge fanbase partly because of SRK . MI had the influence of Sachin Tendulkar,
RCB initially had Rahul Dravid.
And CSK, of course because of MS Dhoni.
But SRH’s fanbase feels natural because Hyderabad has always been full of passionate cricket fans. The only time they got overshadowed was whenever MS Dhoni played there, which is obvious.
Otherwise you will always see orange sea and loud cheers in their home matches.

Mixed feelings about Chennai and TN generally
It is the land of my ancestors yes. Conservative, rooted place relative to say most other large cities
But also a region with a lot of radicalism in public life and discourse. Much middle brow thinking . Subculture is too strong and often antagonistic atleast in rhetoric if not in practice to mainstream Indian culture
Plus bad habits that creep in if you stay in TN like bad phonetics etc
