I have been meaning to make a post on this. I've just been very tired. Great news! I have finished all of my treatments and I am in remission! I just need to recover from the chemo and radiation. From here on out everything should get better one day at a time. 😊❤️

I was supposed to start radiation today. Unfortunately one of 2 lymph nodes came back with cancer. I no longer qualify for the 5 day accelerated irradiation. I will need radiation between 4 and 6 weeks And chemotherapy. I'm thankful to my friends and family for all the support.

The surgery went well. I'm heading home without cancer in my body. 😊 I will start accelerated partial breast irradiation on Thursday.

My breast cancer removal surgery is in the morning. I can't have any food after midnight. I feel like Gizmo lol. 😅

Thursday at pre-op my surgery was canceled for Friday. My surgeon's office green-listed a medicine the anesthesiologist needed me off of a week before surgery. My new surgery date is January 24th. Radiation begins January 30th. Here's hoping everything goes smoothly this time. 🤞

I wanted to share some personal news. Recently I was diagnosed with breast cancer. While this is a challenging time, I am staying positive & focused on my treatment plan. I'm thankful to have a surgery date of January 3rd. I'll keep you updated as I navigate through this journey.
