*Every Family Must Participate Responsibly in Census–2027* *Public Should Remain Alert Against Cyber Frauds in the Name of Census* — *District SP Sharath Chandra Pawar, IPS* District Superintendent of Police Sharath Chandra Pawar urged the public to actively participate in the prestigious Census–2027 programme being conducted by the Government of India and ensure accurate registration of their family details. He stated that the Census serves as a crucial foundation for national development planning and plays an important role in formulating welfare schemes and infrastructure development in sectors such as education, healthcare, drinking water, and roads. He added that the Census provides comprehensive data essential for the development of both rural and urban areas. On this occasion, the District SP personally participated in the self-enumeration process and registered his family details. He appealed to the public to extend full cooperation to the enumerators and provide accurate information to the officially authorized personnel carrying government identity cards to ensure the successful conduct of Census–2027. The SP clarified that all personal information provided by citizens would remain completely confidential and would not be used for any other purpose. He urged people to furnish genuine information, stating that providing false details could adversely affect the implementation of government welfare and development programmes. He also warned the public to stay cautious against cyber criminals attempting frauds in the name of the Census. Official enumerators, he said, would never ask for Aadhaar numbers, bank account details, ATM information, OTPs, or passwords under any circumstances. Citizens were advised not to share such sensitive information with anyone. The public was advised to provide only general information related to household facilities, number of family members, education, employment, drinking water availability, and housing conditions. He further warned people not to trust fraudsters making phone calls, sending messages, or sharing links seeking personal or banking details in the name of the Census. The SP advised citizens to immediately report any suspicious persons, fraudulent calls, or cyber fraud attempts to the nearest police station or the Cyber Crime Helpline 1930. He emphasized that public cooperation is vital for the successful completion of the Census process and that accurate data collection would contribute significantly to the nation’s development. He called upon every family to participate responsibly and make Census–2027 a success. Enumerators M.D. Usman, Maroju Mallik, and others participated in the programme. #Nalgonda_District_Police #Sharat_Chandra_Pawar_IPS #Census2027 #CyberAwareness #CyberSafety #StopCyberFraud #PublicAwareness #DigitalSafety #CensusIndia #GovernmentOfIndia #CyberCrime #StayAlert #PoliceAwareness #PublicCooperation #SafeIndia #CyberHelpline1930 #CommunityAwareness #ResponsibleCitizens #IndiaDevelopment #NalgondaPolice
