As part of the Nalgonda subdivision, the SP carried out a surprise inspection of the Thippartty Police Station over two days and reviewed the staff’s performance, station conditions, and the services being provided to the public.
He inspected various sections of the station, including the reception, women’s help desk, writer section, lock-up, and SHO’s room. He thoroughly examined case registrations, records, and the progress of investigations, and instructed that there should be no negligence in investigations and that action must be taken in accordance with the law to ensure punishment for the accused.
He advised village police officers to stay connected with the public, work towards crime control, and respond promptly to complaints. He also directed that special measures be taken to maintain law and order.
He instructed that there should be immediate response to Dial 100 calls, strengthening of patrolling, surveillance on rowdy-sheeters, and focus on the installation of CCTV cameras.
He emphasized conducting cybercrime awareness programs and taking strict action against crimes such as ganja trafficking, illegal sand transport, PDS rice smuggling, and gambling.
He also directed that special drives be conducted to prevent road accidents, targeting violations such as drunk driving, over-speeding, triple riding, and minors driving vehicles.
