An FPSO is a floating facility used in the offshore oil and gas industry to process and store hydrocarbons extracted from subsea. They will be exposed to hands on activities around FPSO operations such as production operations and mechanical maintenance amongst others.

Senior Petroleum Engineer in the Upstream Exploration Department Hubertus Nashilundo and Petroleum Engineer in the Upstream Development & Production Department Mikka Johannes have travelled to Norway under a NAMCOR-Yinson capacity building agreement.

They will sharpen their petroleum skills with practical exposure to a Floating, Production, Storage and Offloading vessel FPSO for close to two months.
