Something has happened in the last two months. Too many issues with all petrol cars from all brands as I discussed things with customers on IG. Either it’s the fuel quality or blend than 20% is already there. Have you faced an issue lately too?

Ethanol blending looks good in policy papers, but your engine pays the real price.
Petrol mileage:
Pure Petrol = ~18 km/l
E20 Petrol = ~15–16 km/l
That’s a direct 10–15% drop in fuel efficiency because ethanol has ~34% lower energy density than petrol.
Now add:
- Faster engine wear
- Fuel pipe corrosion
- Injector damage
- Higher maintenance cost
Consumers are paying more fuel tax to get lower mileage and shorter engine life.
“Green fuel” for the government.
“Engine killer” for the middle class.
