The list is just naming some players as well, if i sat down and really put a list together with tiers that would take awhile and be debated like any list that is someones opinion.

Hockey fans need to learn the difference between a franchise player and generational player. Generational are once in 10 years best in the game type players... Crosby Mcdavid Ovechkin Mario Gretzky Jagr Orr Lindstrom Hasek Roy Franchise players are elite elite but not quite the best of their era.. Joe Sakic Sundin Lafontaine Mogilny Mackinnon Adam oats Brett Hull Pierre Turgeon Curtis Joseph Carey Price Matthews Draisaitl Kucherov Eichle Quinn Hughes Then you have players that will trigger debates.. Lindros was going to be generational but injuries killed that. Forsberg.. considered by many the best swede to ever lace em up, another injury plagued career but i'd argue for him being close.
