On Thursday, 30 April 2026, employees of Namibia Institute of Public Administration and Management (NIPAM) bid farewell to their colleague, Ms Hileni Rejoice Ihambo, who is pursuing new career opportunities after nearly nine years of dedicated service to the institution.

The Mayor of Ongwediva, Naemi Amuthenu, alongside Council Management Committee Chairperson Juliana Haimbodi, recently shared their experiences after attending a Project Management training programme at Namibia Institute of Public Administration and Management (NIPAM).

Regulation Before Prompting Everybody wants to regulate AI. That is necessary. But there is a leadership question we cannot avoid: Do we understand how to instruct it yet? Many institutions are already discussing AI governance, AI policies, risk frameworks, responsible use.

NIPAM considers supporting Creative Industry Summit On Friday, 24 April 2026, the Strategy and Corporate Services Business Centre engaged with Mr. Hilifa Uusiku of Africa Brandberg to explore potential support from NIPAM for hosting the upcoming Creative Industry Summit.

This week, a total of 54 trainees participated in various training programs at NIPAM campus. One of the key programs offered was Project Management. Other programs included Public Sector Management, Customer Care and Mastering Secretarial Skills. #NIPAM #TrainingAndDevelopment

From 13 to 17 April 2026, a total of 70 trainees participated in various training programmes at the NIPAM campus in Windhoek. The participants included councillors and administrators from Henties Municipality, who attended a course on Protocol and Diplomatic Etiquette.
