What other opportunities should we keep an eye on and invest in early to prepare for the next explosive bull market? Here we recommend 8 premium assets for you to consider: Ordinals This section mainly focuses on Ordinals NFTs. Currently, the hype around small images is not as strong as before. Projects that are gaining traction are either backed by solid teams or are related to potential future airdrops. In the current market downturn, many NFTs without additional utility are not performing well. However, NFTs in scenarios like lending or stablecoins are worth participating in. Early interactions, such as the recent free mint project Forever Bullish by @phantom, which has minted over 200,000 items and is the largest ordinal mint on @trygamma. 1. Runestone Currently, there is little discussion about Runestones. Their price is at a low point. The first airdrop token, $DOG, performed well. As the second airdrop approaches, there might be a market rally, though multiple airdrops could dilute the impact. BRC-20 Last week, despite the overall market downtrend, tokens like rats and sats saw significant gains. Other Protocols Apart from the Inscriptions and Runes tracks, other protocols, while not as heavily funded, introduce innovative concepts that collectively advance the Bitcoin ecosystem. The primary focus here is on recommending the leading tokens of these protocols. 5. Atomicals ARC-20 tokens achieve “one token per Satoshi” through coloured coin technology, with each ARC-20 token being backed by a Satoshi (sats). Unlike BRC-20 tokens, ARC-20 tokens can access token data without off-chain indexing simply by checking the ARC-20 asset tags in the UTXO. This method is more efficient and potentially more secure, as it integrates directly into the Bitcoin blockchain. The new AVM whitepaper also plans to introduce DeFi functionality to Bitcoin’s Layer 1. Recommended tokens are $atom and $quark: $atom is the protocol’s leading token, while $quark has a strong community and was the first token to generate FOMO with a meme-worthy name. $quark refers to the fundamental unit of matter, and it has the most holding addresses among ARC-20 tokens. 6. RGB++ The recommended leading token is $seal, the first token deployed by the RGB++ protocol team. The RGB++ protocol provides duality, allowing assets to switch between the mainnet and Layer 2 freely. Within the RGB++ ecosystem, projects like Huehub, Nervape, World3, and BlueBerry have already or will soon offer airdrop whitelists or asset benefits to addresses holding $seal. New Technology Opportunities Currently, the ecosystem still suffers from liquidity shortages and limited programmability. The AVM whitepaper we mentioned in previous articles aims to address these issues. We believe more advanced protocols and technologies will emerge to solve these problems. Simply replicating last year’s inscription boom is unlikely to be the future path to explosive growth; instead, new narratives will arise. For instance, two newly launched technologies: 7. RSM @RSM_Runes is a new protocol released by @MikaelBTC, the founder of BRC-100. RSM (Runes State Machine) is a Turing-complete state machine for the Runes protocol, serving as an improvement to Runes. RSM aims to give Runes tokens programmability, enabling the implementation of complex decentralized applications (dApps) like DeFi on the Runes protocol. RSM can update the internal state of tokens based on predefined states and state transition functions within the contract, performing the computations needed for complex dApps. It has already seen gains of over tenfold, and there are ongoing points activities on its official website, making it worth following closely. 8. Fractal @fractal_bitcoin will allow @unisat_wallet to integrate BRC-20 swaps into BTC. Users can quickly convert mainnet BTC to Fractal BTC within the UniSat wallet, enabling them to swap Fractal BTC for BRC-20 tokens. In simple terms, Fractal Bitcoin is a Bitcoin sidechain, but unlike other Layer 2 solutions using EVM, it is a relatively new concept. However, the ecosystem being built by UniSat is promising and worth early attention.
