I was explaining how the Islamic regime doesn’t represent Iranians and acts like a terrorist system. A European snapped back: ‘Then why don’t you change it? Maybe Iranians like dictatorship.’
I answered immediately: As an individual in Europe, what exactly did you do for the freedoms you enjoy in your country that you assume I didn’t do for my country?
This irritating attitude of most Europeans I met, isn’t new to me.
This was over 12 years ago, while I was living in Italy.
