T.J.B.T.Ratchet —a teacher’s dream. So many poetic forms explained. Rhyme Schemer—the epitome of what I ❤️ about verse and using a specific type (Found Poetry) to elevate the story. African Town and Voices—the poetry type chosen for each character is deliberate and adds layers.
@NancyJCavanaugh As a former teacher, Ratchet gets high marks! I would have absolutely read this with my students. (P.S. My dog loved it too. First time she “ate” a book 😆, so we bought the library a fresh new copy!)
