I’m announcing that I’ll be supporting challengers against State Senator James Beach and other elected officials who continue to fuel corrupt machine politics in NJ. Last week’s shameful hearing and vote to gut anti-corruption efforts showed the need for more accountability. We halted the bill but need to keep our feet on the gas. We need leaders who represent the people, not powerful interests; and we need a grassroots army to build an anti-corruption movement. I’m putting out a call for people to step up. It won’t be easy, but I hope you’ll join me in stepping up to build a true democracy for the people.

Criminal racketeering case against George Norcross has been dismissed by a state court judge.

I talked to Victor Herlinsky, the attorney and state ethics commissioner who wrote a letter seeking leniency for Bob Menendez. He told told me he wanted the judge know the good things Menendez has done.

I finally researched Scutari's claim that he "barely" handles auto insurance cases. He has filed at least 21 auto cases in 2024 (plus 6 slip n falls, another area where he introduces bills). Didn't see any other types of cases by him 1M drivers got a rate hike b/c of this bill

Excellent reporting here by @DanaDiFilippo & @NJMonitor. New Jersey is in desperate need of more - both in number & in activity - journalists at the local & regional level. Having what already exists get snatched by political operatives & partisan machines is a major crisis.

Who's next? Because if I were a county clerk I wouldn't want to be the last one standing, using taxpayer 💵 to defend the county line. On what comes next, I still stand on what I said in March. Voters won’t settle for a legislative half-measure that still rigs the system.
