i’ve been having massive issues with my new GPU (rx 5700 xt) recently specifically with FFXIV and it’s driving me up a wall, so much so that i’m going to just put my old one back in LOL (gtx 1070 ti) it’s a great GPU for most things but it continuously crash either my whole pc or with directx11 whenever i play ff and no matter how much i change or try it doesn’t fix anything 💀 i crashed 4 times in a dungeon yesterday hopefully once i swap back i can do ff streams again 🤞 my 1070 worked for everything i needed it to before, i only upgraded because my cousin upgraded her card and wanted to give me her old one

@Techn0Nymph Additionally, you can choose to delete the cache files at pretty much any given time, so that’s a plus when it comes to cleaning space.

@Techn0Nymph They’re not temporary unless you hit your cache limit, then some files I believe are deleted. Otherwise they live on the hard drive, completely exposed and readable. The only plus side is that most of those files are given scrambled file names and comical dates, like 1995

@TheWhiteMiqo @wosewuffinz Very much this. The penumbra devs made it easier to snatch pretty much whatever you want from someone, especially textures like skin and makeup. Actual models are a bit more work, but if someone were to want it bad enough, they could recompile the whole mod pretty effortlessly.
