@AyannaKGarland I think the other thing was enjoyment — I always find the Peloton workouts fun once I actually do them lol & picking classes that I thought I’d like helped. Scheduling in advance gave “me vs me” accountability “alright now ms girl, you said you would…!”

@AyannaKGarland It’s most sustainable when I reduce barriers as much as possible. I have a Peloton & would schedule my lil 15-20m workouts at a time that I KNEW would work during the week, w enough buffer time to shower etc. Workout clothes next to the bed or immediately change when I get home

Serious question for residents but especially interns: how are y’all mustering up the energy and motivation to work out?! I’ve gained 15lbs since starting residency and that alone is not enough for me to actually workout, though I’m quite upset about it 😭
