Today, GNFD members delivered #firesafety messages to the students of Cornerstone Christian Academy. Home escape, dialling 911, and what constitutes an emergency were some of the topics covered!

Our fire station had a visitor today who, through some curiosity, got his head stuck in an exhaust port in a garage door. The owner was able to get the exhaust port out of the door and bring the poor pup to us!

We can't thank Joyce's Meat and Deli enough. Not only did they fundraise 80lbs of ground beef. They then personally donated an additional 100lbs of ground beef to this year's Toy and Food Drive. For a grand total of 180lbs of ground beef!! @Greater_Napanee @kingstonist @887myFM

Earlier this week GNFD assisted Deseronto Fire with getting a cat out of a tree that had been there for a few days. There were a few names suggested around the hall, but "Aerial" seems pretty fitting for this kitty. @887myFM @Greater_Napanee

A gentleman by the name of Anthony Shipman reached out via email recently to see how he could help spread some cheer this holiday season. Today he floores us by personally presenting firefighters with a $1,000 donation to this year's Toy and Food Drive.

After hearing about the huge need for help this year The Country Butcher Shop contacted the department and offered to donate 30 frozen turkey's to this year's food baskets. @Greater_Napanee @887myFM

The Rotary Club in Napanee was so wonderful to donate to this year's Toy Drive last night! We appreciate it so much !
