@Imranmuhdz These spent forces failed to read the message from Bala's leap. Are they so blind by their ambitions and greed? Simply put, Bala message is time up you either leave the stage honourably or you all will be booted out disgraceful by the youths. Enough is enough. It's Bala's time.

Kwankwaso Laments No-Show at His Meeting With Nafiu Bala, Calls on the Gombe Emir and Other Emirs, Sheikhs to Advise Against ADC Involvement, Urges Him Not to Turn Into the Lizard at the Mouth of the Pot. Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has expressed disappointment after waiting until dawn for Nafiu Bala, describing the absence as a missed opportunity for fatherly counsel while publicly calling on the Emir of Gombe and other Emirs, politicians and Sheikhs to intervene and advise the young politician. In his interview with DCL Hausa, Kwankwaso said he stayed up all night expecting Bala to arrive but he didn’t show up. “Yesterday, right up until dawn, I was waiting for Nafiu Bala, but he didn’t come. People told me he will not come. I wasn’t happy about it,” Kwankwaso stated. He added a pointed local metaphor: “I told him that he shouldn’t turn into the lizard at the mouth of the pot.” Kwankwaso, who had planned to advise Bala “like from father to son,” noted that the Gombe-born politician is a young man born in 1990. He warned that Bala’s actions involving the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and democracy “will not help him.” “Whoever see him should advise him to remove his hand from bringing problems to the ADC,” Kwankwaso urged. “They say he is from Gombe. I called upon the Emir of Gombe and other Emirs and politicians and Sheikhs that know him to talk to him,” he said.

@ADCWarRoom @renoomokri Once again attacking the messenger. The message simply is when will these old cargos that destroy Nigeria will take a back seat and let the younger generations clean up their mess. Do they have any conscience? What else do they want? They've done enough damage. Greedy bunch.

David Mark will be 78 years old tomorrow, Wednesday, April 8, 2026. Nafiu Bala is said to be 35 years old. Nafiu Bala was not yet born 42 years ago when David Mark was appointed the military Governor of Niger State in 1984. Nafiu had not even been conceived in his mother's womb when David Mark was made Communications Minister in 1987. Now, why would God bless anyone to get to the ripe old age of 78, and you will at that stage of your life be dragging a position with someone who is fifteen years younger than your daughter, Blessing Onyeche Onuh, who is 50 in 2026. I would have thought that David Mark would be embarrassed to be in a power tussle with a youth who is almost the same age as his first grandchild! Is it not sad? For goodness' sake, David Mark got his first political appointment in 1976, when the Obasanjo military government appointed him as the Chairman of the Abandoned Properties Implementation Committee in the former Eastern Nigeria, which is 50 years ago. At that time, Nafiu Bala's mother was still a child. And fast forward to 2026, and he is fighting her child over a chairmanship position? Yoruba say o mass o! The problem with the ADC is that the elders in that party, who should have been in charge of conflict resolution organs, such as their Board of Trustees, are the very people struggling for power. As such, there is no neutral person with sufficient clout to intervene between David Mark and Nafiu Bala, because their elders are struggling for relevance and power against their youths. And this has led to the breakdown of the moral fabric of their party, for which they are to blame, not the Federal Government, the Presidency, or the Independent National Electoral Commission. @IU_Wakilii Which innocent Muslim? The one that facilitated the killing of innocent Christians in Southern Kaduna? The one that invited terrorists into Nigeria? The one that remunerated bandits and kidnappers? Do you call that a Muslim? The God that I know would be glad that he is in jail.

@BwalaDaniel Once again Nigeria opposition has displayed disloyalty and lack of patriotism to Nigeria and Nigerians. They have bought their ways into discrediting the country rather than preferring alternative policies and programs. They have nothing tangible to offer Nigerians.

PRESS STATEMENT In the last 24 hours, social media has exploded over my interview with Mehdi Hassan, albeit with varied opinions. Let me set the record straight. When I signed on to the privileged job granted to me by Mr. President, I was well aware of its implications. Selling ice cream, looking fine, and seeking the praises of men were never part of it. Some of the fiercest critics of my interview can not even stand local TV anchors. But the task of promoting and defending the President and his administration is what I do with ease and joy. I am prepared to appear before any interviewer, anywhere in the world, any day and at any time, to defend this government and its policies. I have never, and will never, subscribe to ducking or dodging interviews on matters that concern promoting and defending the administration I was appointed to serve. It is the least of what is required of me. Head to Head contacted me requesting an interview, stating that they wanted to challenge our government on security, the economy, and corruption. Nowhere in our almost six months of communication did they mention that they were going to challenge my past. If that had been their plan, ethically and professionally, they were supposed to inform me so I could prepare my response. But that’s okay, ethically, that is on them, not on me. I refused to swallow the pill of Mehdi’s “opposition research-style journalism,” and even today, if you carefully compare what he read as quotes from organisations and groups, you will see that many were inaccurate and some were outright fake news. But I will leave that for another day. As for what I said about President Tinubu in the past, I am glad those were things I said when I was in the opposition saddle with such zeal. It is all politics. Half of Donald Trump’s cabinet is made up of people who once spoke against him, and quite a number of people in our own cabinet also spoke against President Tinubu in the past. Those things do not bother him if you care to know. The majority of the naysayers are members of the opposition and their sympathisers. It does not bother me one bit. Their temporary excitement over the interview has not lasted and will not last, because it does not take away their obvious problem of lack of vision, mission in conducting and managing a political party; yet they seek to manage Nigeria. Clearly they have no path to victory and no alternative policies or program for the Nigerian people. And if they say they do, they can as well go to head to head and be interrogated on that; as the saying in Hausa goes “Ga fili Ga doki” I conclude by thanking the many Nigerians and non-Nigerians who sent in their commendations over my brave defence of our government in an interview where the anchor would hardly let you answer a question unless it suited his narrative. I still have admiration and respect for Mehdi Hassan as arguably the best debater on the planet. I look forward to part two of the Head to Head interview, and I am glad that by then questions about my past will no longer be news so that we can focus on our administration’s policies, programs and what we have achieved so far. Stay tuned. – D.H Bwala Special Adviser to President on Media and Policy Communication (State House) Saturday March 7, 2026

@PO_GrassRootM Who's paying for the crowd? We witnessed similar crowds in Anambra governorship election last year, it bears no fruit. Election is not a matter of buying crowds after more than 2 years absence from grassroot structure building. Time spent taking photo with the Mulas are wasted.

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) expresses grave concern over the attempt by the Kaduna State Government and the Nigeria Police Force to cover up the mass abduction of Nigerians in a church in Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State, an incident that was later confirmed by the same authorities after public outcry. This episode raises a fundamental and dangerous question for our country: can a government whose first instinct is to withhold information and hide the truth be trusted to protect lives and improve security? The deliberate denial of a verified mass abduction is not a communications error. It is the behaviour of a government obsessed with looking good rather than solving problems. In moments of violence and emergency, truth is the first line of defence. It guides response, enables rescue, mobilises communities, and reassures a frightened public. However, when a government chooses silence or falsehood, it compounds danger, delays action, and deepens trauma. A government that lies during a security crisis does not merely fail its people; it actively places them at further risk.
