TOO taxing? I deadlift, do weighted back extensions & RDL’s on the same day. You cannot train scared. If you aren’t recovering it’s simply because you aren’t feeding your body post sessions & taking care of it out of the gym. Fear mongering harsh training in big 2026 is nuts.

We mostly forget the extent of the savagery of the pre-Christian world.
Instead, we are taught to see our forebears as the bad guys.
We should teach our kids to be proud of our ancestors, and glad our civilization and its principles won.
That’s the only way it’ll keep winning.

In the 1622 massacre of the Virginia settlers, a horrific attack in which the “merciless Indian savages” gained access to English settlements by pretending to be interested in Christianity, then massacred men, women, and children alike The brutal attack wiped out hundreds a settlers, perhaps a quarter or more of the settlers, who had just been managing to move past the Initial rigors of settlement. It also came just at planting time, wreaking agricultural havoc and putting the settlers at risk of starvation The attack was horrific, set the colony back by years, and was savage in the extreme. It also mostly ended Virginian interest in converting the Indians, which up until then had been substantial But fortunately for us the Virginians didn’t give in. Instead they collected themselves behind the walls of Jamestown and then blitzed out and took the fight to the Indians, punishing them in a succession of campaigns and attacks that were so severe the Indian menace was mostly quieted for decades afterwards

@NaronChris @indocon1111 @DrGregLittle2 The crawfish festival is in Jackson. We had Riverfest that featured a lot of music & crawfish but they suspended it 3 years ago. Now they have a fall festival and a much smaller spring arts and music festival featuring local artists

Mont Helena Mound near Rolling Fork, Mississippi. The house was originally built in 1899 but was abandoned and in ruins by the 1980s. It was restored and is now a wedding/meeting venue.

Tug boats on average have a huge power to size ratio because they are designed to move ships of much greater mass. Having served on huge ships in the US Navy and seeing them work many, many times, I believe I know a little about them.
Plus, I guarantee you that if a large ship does not want to be moved by a tugboat, it can increase revolutions and easily outpower the tugboat..

@indocon1111 @DrGregLittle2 The Central Valley is a miracle. It has everything the MS Delta has minus the crazy weather, humidity, and pests. As long as they can get water. On top of that, it’s in a state that wasn’t destroyed in an apocalyptic war.
