Restore Our Fairgrounds
@NashFairgrounds
Preserving the Nashville Fairgrounds’ legacy of community green space.

NASCAR is the Latin of American sports. It’s a dead language.

This past weekend’s @CARSTour race at @RaceFairgrounds very much had that 90s BGN or prime Hooter’s Pro Cup feel. Huge crowd. Huge location. Big sponsors.

Kenny Wallace (@Kenny_Wallace) discusses the @DaleJr effect at Nashville Fairgrounds

On-site estimates put attendance at 26,000, and there is speculation that Bristol could lose a date. Embarrassing. Marcus Smith and SMI *already* have a Cup race in Nashville. If they can't fill 30k seats at Bristol, there is ZERO reason to add another venue in the same place.
