The Middle East is about to get extremely stormy - from a weather perspective, that is. A deep trough over Egypt & Saudi Arabia is expected to force a severe weather outbreak & torrential rain capable of extreme flooding over UAE, parts of Iran, and the Strait of Hormuz.

@WxGabe @ChanceTColdiron The crazy thing is the clear vortex breakdown as it exits McConnell where it then quickly transforms from a bowl with no condensation funnel to the wedge we came to know.

It’s amazing how similar the evolution of the 2013 Moore, OK EF5 was to the 1991 Andover, KS F5. For the first 5 minutes, it’s practically the same tornado. @ChanceTColdiron

Extreme devastation caused by an F5 tornado that tore through Brandenburg, Kentucky, on April 3, 1974. It obliterated large, well-built homes, stripped and debarked trees, hurled and mangled vehicles beyond recognition, and windrowed every structure that fell victim to its core.
