Kathy Hochul fired Correction Officers who spoke out against the very laws she approved that have fueled rising violence inside our prisons. Now, instead of working with those officers, Hochul is forcing taxpayers to spend millions of dollars deploying National Guard troops to staff correctional facilities. For years, Albany politicians have pushed policies to release inmates and close prisons. Today, New Yorkers are paying the price.
