I was asked today why I don’t wear a lot of makeup by someone who is 10 years old. Bc everyone on social media is & she thinks she needs makeup or to dress a certain way to be pretty… that is not how she should think… it’s okay to be yourself. Doesn’t matter.

Good advice?

Deep down we know who really for us and who really ain’t. Start detaching.

if u want long term relationships make sure that you’re ready for the boring days, tears, & the arguments, it's not all about happiness

You have to love yourself enough to not tolerate disrespect, disloyalty, and wishywashy feelings. If a person doesn't value you, move on.

I think when you’re transitioning from being a people pleaser to someone with more boundaries it’s so weird, because it’s hard to tell if you’re being mean or if you’re just listening to your own feelings because you’re so used to this & only thinking about others

pay attention to who “can’t” with you but “can” with everyone else

someone remembering and describing the smallest details you have shared about yourself shows that they are an active listener, and that they care about knowing you. keep them close

Your life can really change in a year. You just gotta love yourself enough to know you deserve more and be disciplined to actually work for it.
