Cancer Cachexia is unintentional weight loss caused by tumors. Education and awareness are critical for patients and caregivers, and to progress. The Cancer Support Community have created an excellent educational document on cachexia. Link in the comments.

Morphine myth busting -It not used to shorten life expectancy -It is not used to sedate people -It is only one of many options for pain control in palliative care -There is no maximum dose, the right dose is the one that works for that individual -Morphine does not = dying
