Want to know why $BTC went more parabolic during the 2020 cycle?
Simple, the answer is liquidity.
Post-COVID shutdown, central banks around the world was pouring massive liquidity to ignite the economy again.
Hence, we can see massive spike in global M2.
Whereas during 2022-2026, The Fed played a big role in global liquidity tightening through their rate hiking cycle.
That's why we saw a lot of chops along the way, like the notorious 2024 summer sideways.
So, make sure to pay attention to global liquidity for a risk-on sentiment.

Somebody is dumping $LAB right now.
By their own admission, it can only be the team.
Down 98% in the last week alone. In early May they tried to sell me an OTC bag at 80% off. 50% unlocking in August, 50% in September. Their exact words: nobody holds tokens before August 14th.
So who is selling right now? Exactly.
Even buying at that 80% discount, $5.01 down to $1, I'd still be down 71% at today's price. The insider deal was underwater the moment it unlocked.
An 80% OTC discount is never a gift. It's a red flag. I watched the same thing play out with $SAROS and $RIVER.
If the people who built it are this desperate to hand you a bag, ask yourself why.
I passed.

Yesterday, the US CPI came in softer than expected.
From 4.2% the previous month, down to 3.5%.
The cause? Falling oil and energy prices that have recently cooled off.
However, one thing still poses a threat for $BTC.
The probability of a rate hike remains for the September FOMC meeting.
Even after a dovish CPI print, the more likely interest rate outcome is still a hike.
Now, although this is only market expectation and can change as the months go by, it's still important to note.
Higher rates, even just the expectation of them, kills risky assets.

Heads up, today is going to be quite volatile for $BTC and risky assets. The US inflation data is being released today, along with Fed Chair Kevin Warsh's testimony. A soft print, in line with consensus, would be a good bullish signal for the market.
