Talk about a change from where we started this strip till process years ago. I love what I’m seeing at this point, but still concerned over how the covers play out down the road. It’s inexperience on my end at this point. But I “think/really hope” this system could thrive if managed and implemented correctly for down the road. Still a ton to learn but I cannot believe how much I love what we are trying to implement here and moving forward.@land_luvr @ChrisK_Banded @Diversified_Ag @WiBeanBag

It’s no secret I’ve not been a fan of covers or fall stripping. I challenged myself hard over the past year to learn more about this system. With what I saw today, I can say I’ve NEVER been more wrong. We achieved our goal, beautiful strips to plant on with covers in between. Still a long way to go, but I love what I’m seeing so far. Shoutout to a fantastic job by @YetterFarmEquip strip freshner. And thank you @WiBeanBag @Diversified_Ag for staying on me to push harder and learn more. This is beautiful. @StripTillFarmr

Interesting conversation with a new landlord. Dad is taking over his farm after he kicked the last tenant off for excess tillage and letting gulleys wash. He is going to have the gulleys fixed and tile put in to reduce the ponding that caused the issue. The landlord is planning on having the previous tenant pay for a large portion of the repairs. He said it should be treated no differently than someone renting a house and trashing it Should rental contracts have provisions for the tenant being responsible for soil loss and field damage?
