@Google - AVI Systems opened a YouTube account under @avisystems handle. Employee left and trying to access our account. The recovery process takes your through a Google Account but back when this was created it was only a YouTube account. How can we recover our channel?

@TeamYouTube Unfortunately it doesn't. Guess I'm left hanging, thanks @Google. If only there was a real person I could talk to... good thing I get pushed to help articles that don't solve my problem. 👍 Oh to be a tech giant and not care... sad.

@TeamYouTube I think this is where some of the problem lies. I don't believe this channel was every tied to a google account. If so can you confirm what account it was tied too?

@TeamYouTube appreciate the continued support but that requires me to know the password of the account we cannot access. If I had the password I wouldn't be in this dilemma. What can I try next?

@NateRoss_7 do you possibly have the channel URL? you can try to find your channel URL in your browsing history, past social media posts / emails you got from us about your acct. it looks like this: goo.gle/3VvXgtW

@TeamYouTube Well I am because I keep getting brought around in a circle. I've tried recovery but the problem is I know the channel name but not the username or email it was started with. How do I proceed?

@TeamYouTube I have. I've worked with our IT team and we determined who set the account up in 2009 but have no trace of the email used. I've tried our current email to all Google accounts, nothing. I've tried an older Gmail account, nothing. I'm stuck.

@NateRoss_7 hmm...have you already tried logging into the YT channel using the Google accts you think was used to create the channel?

@TeamYouTube Thanks @TeamYouTube but unfortunately we are'nt sure which email was used to create the account. I could give you several that were associated at one time. Provide IP's account was accessed from. Past users who had/still have access. Just don't know any login credentials.
