Holofoil and Gem Sprites were incorrectly available via the Sprite Hunt rift anomaly. If you collected a Holofoil and Gem Sprite ahead of their release, they'll be temporarily disabled in your inventory and will be unable to bring them into a match or resummon them. Once these Sprite variants are released, they will return to your inventory.

@FireMonkey Does this mean we can get back the sprite hunt

Epic Games has hotfixed Holofoil & Gem versions of some sprites, potentially removing them from being visible in matches/in your sprite menu until they are properly introduced in the future.
