@juliecbarrett They are literally encouraging parent to be passive, ill informed and to cash in when things go awry.

@moflatley How dystopian is that??? “Kids deserve technology that protects them” 🤡 Parents need to ENGAGE and do their jobs. Let’s be honest - most that give their kids devices aren’t taking the time to lock things down.

@NCOSE “Children deserve technology that protects them” Your post doesn’t mention parents once. Technology does not “protect” kids, parents and people who love and care about them do.

A $1.4 trillion lawsuit isn't about accountability—it's a trial-bar shakedown that threatens the entire digital economy. 🚫 Weaponizing the courts to target online platforms is a direct attack on free speech and innovation.

@joellthayer @BLkhoih96132 ...Should I put you a nice summary of how often Big Tech got sued for storing data they shouldn't have? It is like that joke where the owner keeps hiring that one person that keeps going in and out of prison promising: "This time, bro I won't do it again. Trust me." Really?

@joellthayer @BLkhoih96132 Think of the kids that have to give their sensitive data at a certain point to prove they are above a certain age and then pray that data isn't misused. Which most likely it will because who in their right mind would refuse a huge source of revenue. No company will refuse that.

Brazil is officially joining the Stop Killing Games conversation. Congresswoman Jandira Feghali has introduced Bill 3612/2026, inspired by the Stop Killing Games movement. If passed, game publishers would have to ensure players can keep playing their games even after official support ends. The bill would also update Brazil’s Consumer Protection Code to better cover digital games. This comes just days after Congresswoman Erika Hilton called for an investigation into Sony’s plan to stop releasing new PlayStation games on physical discs

@BLkhoih96132 @joellthayer @juliecbarrett He has some concepts but they are clearly skin deep and he spins it in a way as if it is a good thing Big Tech tries to spy on you, let us make them demand more from you instead of really damaging Big Tech: their data collection, data brokers and third party sharing.
