Today is an important day for us to all pause and remember the sacrifice of those who have paved the way for freedom. It was an honor to join service men and women from around the world at the Canadian Embassy today for a powerful Remembrance Day service. Lest we forget.

Always a pleasure meeting with U.S. Ambassador Pete Hoekstra, @petehoekstra and U.S. Consul General, Emily Fleckner. Alberta values this strong partnership, and we're committed to growing it. We support deepening our trading relationship, including expanding oil exports globally and to the U.S. for decades to come. As CUSMA negotiations begin, Alberta will continue to advocate for open markets and tariff free trade to ensure a level playing field for businesses on both sides of the border.

We had a great day hosting the US Ambassador in northern Alberta. The oil sands are a wonderful display of partnerships, economic growth, job creation and responsible resource development. Canada and the United States benefit greatly from the impact of the oil sands.

I pray for the Kirk family and those that loved Charlie this evening. May the Lord comfort them.

As Jewish people all over Alberta gather with family and friends tonight for the first sedar, I would like to wish the Jewish community a happy and joyous Passover. This holiday celebrates the exodus from Egypt to the holy land of Israel. Chag Sameach!
