Inbound scam emails have been filling my email recently, so here's some red flags🚩 to look out for: 🚩 Check the email address - if it's a well-known brand with an @ gmail, it's most likely a scam 🚩 Brands will typically address you by name, instead of 'hi dear' or 'hi friend' 🚩 Grammar & email structure - is everything all jumbled into one paragraph? 🚩 They want you to buy the product first? No shot! 🚩 Trust your gut! If an offer is too good to be true (i.e. a box of free products every month in exchange for one video), do your research first! Be on the lookout! This industry is also another one you have to protect yourself in. #ugc #ugccommunity #ugccreator

@UGCbyAlice_ I think the general consensus is don’t pay for products. Me personally, that’s a red flag just based on what I’ve heard from others.

#UGC advice needed! Has anyone ever accepted a collaboration where they pay for the product up front with a discount? Or is this a complete no no?! Everything else about the collaboration seems legit with an official website and contract.
