He’s right, the players are good. The manager is not. You have to be a motivator/leader and Mendoza is neither. For 100 games last year it was a bad stretch with good players. Make the freaking move #Mets.

Another reason Mendoza has to go. It’s not on him when players don’t show up. BUT when Lindor isn’t mentally locked in, there’s something off. The clubhouse is not right.

Carlos Mendoza has to go. The team plays with no urgency. This has been an underperforming franchise for 75% of his tenure. Some crazy magic is the only thing that saved him two years ago. Let’s be honest about what he has actually accomplished. #Mets

The boos are really coming down now as Tyler Soderstrom deposits a baseball over the right-field fence. The Mets immediately follow that up with another defensive miscue, their second of the inning. They have been outscored 22-4 over their last 30 innings.

Listen…the Mets have not been very good. They have had all sorts of injuries and bad luck. Lindor has been bad. Lineup has been underwhelming.
But the negativity at 7-7 over a losing streak is like unbearable right now. I get it. It’s a different team and we don’t know what will happen…but the toxicity after just 14 games is legit insanity at this point.
You can be frustrated and complain, sure….but saying season over & fire Stearns & trade everyone & fire everyone on April 11th is just so absurd..people gotta take a deep breath, step outside, go for a walk, grab a chicken parm hero & calm down. It’s gonna be ok. There are 148 games remaining. Please let that sink in.
