The dichotomy of Reddick winning FIVE races without winning a single stage or fastest lap point is pretty wild. They're not dominant, they're running close enough to the front and making the right decisions to capitalize at the end. It's impressive to watch
Number of victories for the season wins leader in the NASCAR Next Gen era:
2022 -- 5 wins
2023 -- 6 wins
2024 -- 6 wins
2025 -- 6 wins
2026 -- ?? but Reddick already has 5 wins
@_DanielCespedes Guy with 8 career wins in 6 seasons wins 5 of the first 9 races after his team sues NASCAR.
Do they think we’re all retarded and won’t notice or just hope we don’t care?
Tyler Reddick has joined Dale Earnhardt, Cale Yarborough and Richard Petty as the only drivers to win 5+ races in the first 9 races of a season.
Reddick also becomes the first driver to win 4 races from pole in the first 9 races
@NationsLeading@bobpockrass There’s no rule that says they all have to have the same horsepower. I suspect Toyota is leading the power department right now, but that was mostly on Kyle being really tight.
I think Kansas has been enjoyable.
It’s not hard to pass. The field is spread out and you can tell who is fastest/slowest on long runs.
These races don’t always need dramatics to be successful.
@5KLNASCARFAN Doesn’t even matter man the 45 and Toyotas are so cheated up it’s ridiculous. You cannot watch that GWC and say that the 45 is running the same HP as everyone else. The ground they make up at will is unreal.
@TeamHendrick If you guys don’t unload with 950+ horsepower at Texas you might as well just not even run the race and let Toyota skull fuck you in the garage area before you pack up and go back home.
@NASCAR@TylerReddick@kansasspeedway@23XIRacing Very clearly running extra HP.
Whole sport is fucked. Next gen snoozer all day then reddick blows past everyone like they’re standing still.
@elliottfilms The amount of ground the 45 made up on the 5 in a little over a lap there was fucking ridiculous. That car is so cheated up it’s not even funny anymore.
With the NextGen:
Short-track racing sucks.
Plate racing sucks.
Road course racing sucks.
And now intermediate racing is simply "meh."
So what exactly does this car do well?
#NASCAR
@AlextheAdm1ral Wow bristol sucks !
Wow martinsville sucks !
Wow 1.5 mile tracks suck!
Wow dayton/talladega suck
I guess it’s the track every week not the car right?
I think today's race is also a product of being year 5 with no real changes to a platform with pretty significant inherent flaws. The top teams have risen to the top. Outside or restarts and pit stops, the top 15-20 positions stay the same through a stage
@AlextheAdm1ral This race goes green to the end it’s just going to be a product of whoever wins the restart wins the stage/race because of clean air. So far 2/2 with Hamlin/Larson. Bell probably wins if we go green to the end.
