Bob was a combination of Rasta spirituality, left wing Carribean politics, Garveyite political philosophy and raw musical talent. He was NOT an "entertainer".

@phethani4 Nearly all of Africa’s Europe-planted states are named after either a geographical direction, a physical feature of interest to the Europeans, an explorer-warlord or a commodity. They are not “countries”; they are economic projects. Only a handful are named after their peoples.

@Ruharabu This is a standard mugwiira/settler stance: You zero in on any aspect of Native culture benefits you (eg “migration”) and become Taliban in demanding the Native implement a bastardized version of it for you. All while suppressing other sides of the culture that call you to order.

Hehehe im not guilty of being here. There's no need. Also Migrations happened whether u like or not. Im not able to help with your denial. I deal with realities not fiction.
Kalundi Serumaga@NativeLandgrab

@Ruharabu If you are feeling ancestrally guilty about being here, then go back to where you think you originate. We have no interest in partaking of your anxieties.

Im from migrants sir. My ancestors(Bantu) migrated to prese t day E.Africa they found natives like the Sandawe of TZ and Gumba. Who gave the Bantu permission to settle here?
Kalundi Serumaga@NativeLandgrab

@Ruharabu I’ve been talking about Natives as a whole. You keep obsessing about Buganda alone. You need to examine your mentally unhealthy need to devote so much energy on whatever you’re imagining Buganda is, or is not. Are you from Native people? If so, what have you to say about them?

The ongoing Iran vs USA battle for control of the Straits of Hormuz is in fact an American struggle for the survival of the United States dollar as a primary global currency. The outcomes will affect the whole world. Identify your interests in the matter, and prepare accordingly.

U speak of processes like they happen in controlled environments at all times. Did the indegenous inhabitants of the great lakes region permit the Bantu and Hamitic migrants to settle in these areas?
Kalundi Serumaga@NativeLandgrab

@Ruharabu You reason like the sexually aggressive boys of our youth who’d try to coerce a girl by saying since she’d been with some boy, she had to accept him too. It’s not the immigrants’ right to demand accommodation: it’s the indigene’s to choose. This is not possible under Occupation.

Also Buganda is an amalgam of people that migrated, and settled, and some indegenous people's too. The hospitality of Baganda is well spoken abt. Nothing new under the sun. Govts role is to a small extent.
Kalundi Serumaga@NativeLandgrab

@Ruharabu You really need to decide if you and he are talking about the same thing, same times and same people. And you really haven’t answered the question about who was in the Obote1 and Amin intelligence services. Basically, you’re having your own private argument with yourself. Enjoy.

@Ruharabu Joining the intelligence service of a regime that’s oppressing the Native population is not “settling into a society”; it’s exploiting the regime’s need for a dependent human resource to control Natives. You need educating on indigenous assimilation practices. This is not it.

You apportion blame to govts of the day for entertaining foreigners. I remind u that foreigners settling into a society is a normal phenomena. They have a tendency to rise to even lead those very societies. I cite examples of the royal family in Buganda. That's the connection.

I thought it was a joke – just AI – until author sent me a well-written 134-page PDF gently tearing me down. (I'm not allowed to share it). I was flattered. My columns are about 10 years now, & this is an insightful assessment by one of their committed readers. First page, chapter one: "Serunkuma isn’t a revolutionary. He’s a pressure valve." 🤣

Royal family of Buganda has Luo Bito blood, and Chwezi origins just like other kingdoms. Foreigners came and became the rulers of these lands called Buganda. If it were govts like u say, they'd never have been at the helm in Buganda. Ugandans r just hospitable.

@IshimweNS @TheMutaD Have you ever done some study into just how many folk of rwandese refugee status were working as operatives in Uganda’s intelligence services both under Obote1, and then Amin who cam next? Schroedinger’s victims.

Being know by your mother’s house or name is not because you are matriarchal, it’s because you are matrilineal to a certain context, many times because your society practiced polygamy.. I would even argue that there has never been a true matriarchal
