@phethani4 Nearly all of Africa’s Europe-planted states are named after either a geographical direction, a physical feature of interest to the Europeans, an explorer-warlord or a commodity.
They are not “countries”; they are economic projects.
Only a handful are named after their peoples.

You zero in on any aspect of Native culture benefits you (eg “migration”) and become Taliban in demanding the Native implement a bastardized version of it for you.
All while suppressing other sides of the culture that call you to order.

Im from migrants sir. My ancestors(Bantu) migrated to prese t day E.Africa they found natives like the Sandawe of TZ and Gumba. Who gave the Bantu permission to settle here?

Also Buganda is an amalgam of people that migrated,and settled, and some indegenous people's too. The hospitality of Baganda is well spoken abt. Nothing new under the sun. Govts role is to a small extent.

You need educating on indigenous assimilation practices.

You apportion blame to govts of the day for entertaining foreigners. I remind u that foreigners settling into a society is a normal phenomena. They have a tendency to rise to even lead those very societies. I cite examples of the royal family in Buganda. That's the connection.

Royal family of Buganda has Luo Bito blood,and Chwezi origins just like other kingdoms. Foreigners came and became the rulers of these lands called Buganda. If it were govts like u say,they'd never have been at the helm in Buganda. Ugandans r just hospitable.

Being know by your mother’s house or name is not because you are matriarchal, it’s because you are matrilineal to a certain context, many times because your society practiced polygamy.. I would even argue that there has never been a true matriarchal

Türkiye is consolidating its influence in Somalia, pushing Uganda out. The Ugandan-trained Somali military commander was removed in January and replaced him with a Turkish-trained officer. Uganda's operations in Somalia have become unsustainable due to shortage of funds.
