South Africa isn't a nice name for our country. It just describes our location on the continent.

@Ruharabu If you are feeling ancestrally guilty about being here, then go back to where you think you originate. We have no interest in partaking of your anxieties.

@Ruharabu I’ve been talking about Natives as a whole. You keep obsessing about Buganda alone. You need to examine your mentally unhealthy need to devote so much energy on whatever you’re imagining Buganda is, or is not. Are you from Native people? If so, what have you to say about them?

@Ruharabu Yes.

@Ruharabu You reason like the sexually aggressive boys of our youth who’d try to coerce a girl by saying since she’d been with some boy, she had to accept him too. It’s not the immigrants’ right to demand accommodation: it’s the indigene’s to choose. This is not possible under Occupation.

@Ruharabu You really need to decide if you and he are talking about the same thing, same times and same people. And you really haven’t answered the question about who was in the Obote1 and Amin intelligence services. Basically, you’re having your own private argument with yourself. Enjoy.

@IshimweNS @TheMutaD Have you ever done some study into just how many folk of rwandese refugee status were working as operatives in Uganda’s intelligence services both under Obote1, and then Amin who cam next? Schroedinger’s victims.

“Uganda is the most generous country in the world.” — Tharcisse Karugarama former minister of justice Some of history’s most difficult chapters also reveal the depth of people’s humanity. In this clip, Tharcisse Karugarama reflects on a period when ethnic politics affected university admissions in Uganda—but also explains why, despite those challenges, he believes Ugandans are among the most generous people he has ever known. Sometimes, the greatest acts of kindness emerge in the hardest of times. 📺Watch the full episode on YouTube youtu.be/bSPxlT-y7pg?si…

Türkiye is consolidating its influence in Somalia, pushing Uganda out. The Ugandan-trained Somali military commander was removed in January and replaced him with a Turkish-trained officer. Uganda's operations in Somalia have become unsustainable due to shortage of funds.
