Northern cardinals stay year-round in southern #Ontario. Lucky us! #DYK the red pigment in the male’s feathers comes from carotenoids in their food? Imagine a natural burial ground with serviceberry trees: a feast for the birds and those who spot their brilliant colour! 😍

While 2021 wasn't a banner year for most of us, we hope 2022 brings better things your way, like community gatherings and seeing everyone's smile again. If you're setting some goals for this year, perhaps consider talking more about "the d-word". We promise it won't kill you!
