@BalogunOla51479 Yes. If I’m tracking correctly they will have one of the fastest non-automatic qualifying times for Worlds. This 38.12s will have to hold for over a full calendar year but it is a good position

@buike_daddy He is a quality 100m runner as well. One of the fastest Nigerians ever (9.92s personal best). He said injuries have kept him from running many 100m races this year but he is usually near the top of the Nigerian list in the 100m every year

@NaturalCal That 4th leg guy—Onwuzurike—should really consider running more 100m as well. Cos do you what it takes to keep up with Canada's De Grasse?! Plus I saw his chase down to clinch silver at the 200m finals too!

@abumichaeli We needed to give her a bigger lead. Ella had nearly a full second gap on Oakley with just 200m to go and Oakley hawked her and broke her spirit. Ella was not going to outkick her so might as well create as much distance as early as you can. Decent strategy it just didn’t work

@Iammarels Patience split 51.00s which was the 3rd fastest for that leg but she got the baton to Ogazi in 4th place and didn’t make up much ground from where she started A more balanced team would have helped. I like Ogazi on 1st for relays personally.

@NaturalCal Patience cost us that race, I really want to see her split time. That said, the whole fault goes to AFN for not going with extra legs. If Tyler and Onyah went, Ogazi would have ran first, Ella 2nd, Tyler 3rd, Onyah last. That could have given us a better lead against Oakley

Ogazi & Ella ran with tired legs, you can't fault them. When did Ella start anchoring? She's known to take 2nd/3rd leg, even in the NCAAs. Favour Onyah was in great shape after NCAA champs but wasn't selected, and Tyler Johnson. We lost with our first 2 runners/selection.

I’m not a fan of changing the order too much between rounds. Maybe substitute a replacement or two but drastically changing orders are risky I would hope they consider bringing in Udodi for the leadoff leg while keeping everything else the same
