No one is blaming asylum-seekers for the problem with the healthcare system. We blame the government for terrible policies that affect the healthcare system that was already struggling. Why don’t you try actually being a journalist and doing some investigating? How many asylum seekers are getting healthcare benefits? Especially after their asylum claims have been rejected and they should be leaving the country? If asylum seekers want healthcare they should pay for it. Healthcare is for Canadian citizens who pay taxes so they can get healthcare when they need it. Healthcare for people who don’t pay taxes is not fair to the rest of Canadians. No one is blaming the people. We are blaming the government for not doing a good job. If a person’s asylum claim is rejected, they should be deported. That’s common sense.
