@BenGrahamUK I quite enjoyed the secular country I grew up in that partook in a surface level Christian tradition. Christian holidays were more about time off school, chocolate, presents and pancakes than anything else.

Britain has been a Christian nation for over 1,400 years. Through wars, plagues, and countless kings, Easter has always been celebrated. Yet now, Cadbury won’t even use the word ‘Easter’ on their eggs. When did celebrating British traditions become controversial?

@Liam_J20 Bournemouth, Brentford and Brighton are brilliant modern clubs. They are in the EPL on merit. The big clubs in the Championship need to learn the way they recruit and run their clubs.

@HendrickD82 32 is better than 24. The drama that the last group games can throw up is as good as a knockout game. Two simultaneous games, a goal in one affects a team in the other with immediate ramifications. Waiting a few days to see if you qualify neuters it.

Here's 5 reasons. 1) There hasn't been a good World Cup since 2006. 2) There's far too many teams now. 24 was perfect. 32 was too many. 48 is fucking ridiculous. 3) The tickets are far too expensive. 4) The Trump factor. 5) FIFA are beyond corrupt.
