So many videos and photos from Helene don't properly capture the truly HORRIFIC flooding, the rapid and debris-heavy waters, the buildings and vehicles being thrown around as 25'+ of raging rising rivers destroyed EVERYTHING in their path! This video, from right nearby My home in Asheville, NC, accurately shows what we experienced and fought against for our lives and livelihoods. Nothing can survive this... and we're still so desperately in need of help to replace what was lost and to put our lives back together. So many roads are still washed away, so many places have only barely begun the salvage and recovery process, even now - nearly 3 months later. Our homes, families, and communities are devastated. Many of us can never return, and many others are fighting like hell just to stay in the only place they've ever called home. ----- For those new to My page, I just lost My home, dungeon, studio, and 6 leather/wood/metalworking workshops for our small queer family owned kink toy/gear/furniture business @HeartwoodsF in hurricane Helene, that devastated and completely flooded our area of Western North Carolina. My wife is salvaging as many tools as she can so we can get back on our feet and continue creating our unique custom designs for our community, and hopefully rebuild some of what we lost, as our family of 4 lost our entire livelihoods in this disaster. Please help send necessary salvage and recovery supplies to My wife, who is in the middle of the destruction of Helene that ravaged Asheville NC - she is a genius engineer, mechanic, and builder who desperately wants to return to helping her local community and the WNC kink community recover from this disaster! For everyone commenting on the amount of padlocks on the new armbinder (which isn't even an excessive amount, mind you)... part of My wife's collection that she just hung up the other day (there are many bags and bins more yet to be hung up) (no they won't all fit) (these are just the amount she uses all at the same time and needs readily available for a single predicament bondage session). @You_Need_Nyx Ahh gotcha. For a backup we used to use a Zoom handheld, still do from time to time, decent quality and omni-directional. Fairly inexpensive if memory serves too.

@NaughtiaF Oh I just record a second audio channel for a back up in case I need it. I am not using multiple sound sources for any other reason and I’m definitely not mixing anything by hand or not lol

What's the best way to record a second audio source for clips? I've been using my laptop and recording into Audition but I'm wondering if there's a better way

@You_Need_Nyx Oh it's definitely made it easier, maybe a little more initial setup but the end result is all in the same place now. Compared to using a bunch of different sources like we used to and having to combine them by hand it's much better. :)

@MsMichelle_Lacy Depends on what you're looking for. I've bought some very good industrial quality stuff from them and it worked great! I've also bought some literal junk, but for the latter they were very gracious in their cost allowance to the point where it was almost free.
