On the latest episode of the Translating Proteomics podcast, Nautilus VP of Scientific Engagement and proteomics industry expert Sheri Wilcox joins hosts Parag Mallick and Andreas Huhmer for a thought-provoking discussion of their “proteomics hot takes.” Each “hot take” is a provocative opinion on a topic in proteomics. Specifically, they cover: 🔥 Insufficient biological validation is one of the biggest problems in proteomics (Sheri Wilcox). 🔥 Antibody validation remains a distributed, inconsistent, lab-by-lab responsibility, and this model for validation may not be sustainable going forward (Andreas Huhmer). 🔥 AI cell models are overhyped (Parag Mallick). Check out the episode for deep explorations of each of these hot takes and their potential remedies. nautilus.bio/blog/proteomic… After listening, be sure to let us know whether you agree, disagree, or have your own hot take to share!

By studying the tau protein at the proteoform level, we firmly believe researchers will discover the mechanisms of neurodegeneration. You can be one of the first to study tau proteoforms with the Nautilus Tau Proteoforms Assay through participation in the Iterative Mapping Early Access Program. In this blog post, we share some of the questions the assay may help answer. If you'd like to answer these or similar questions with the Nautilus Voyager™ Platform, we strongly encourage you to submit your project ideas through the Early Access Program. nautilus.bio/blog/pressing-…

We're excited to attend the Alzheimer's Association International Conference July 12-15 in London, UK. Nautilus representatives will be at the event to discuss: 🔵 How Iterative Mapping is revealing tau's role in neurodegeneration. 🔵 How attendees can use Iterative Mapping to explore the roles of tau proteoforms in Alzheimer's disease. 🔵 Additional proteins attendees wold like to study at the proteoform level. At this year's conference, we're particularly excited to invite attendees to join the Iterative Mapping Early Access Program. By participating in the program, researchers gain exclusive access to the Nautilus Voyager™ Platform and will be among the first to use the platform for targeted proteoform studies and broadscale proteomic analyses. If you'd like to discuss an Early Access Program project or have questions about the Nautilus Voyager™ Platform, please set up a meeting with us at the conference through the link below or reach out through the Early Access Program webpage.
