@lady_valor_07 10% is like a cheap tip meaning that a person's service was adequate. If the service was good, you're typically looking at 20%, and some folks tip more. But even at that scale, you are looking at between $50-100... $40 is a pretty low tip for $500 worth of food. Too low, imo.

We went to a dinner as a group and had a $500 bill. We tipped $40. We were happy we can be able to give our server something, but her reaction was the opposite. She told us she assumed we're going to give her at least $120. When we asked for the manager, she said she was just joking, but she wasn't smiling at all. Idk, but is $40 tip enough for $500 bill? I just feel like expecting $120 is not realistic. ~Lea Robertson

@james_xond The first president I was old enough to pay attention to was Ronald Reagan, and if that was my normal, as we went down the line with GHWB, Clinton, GWB, Obama, Trump, Biden, and Trump... it's continuously gotten worse. IMO, it started with the veto of the fairness doctrine.

Because billionaires borrow against their assets, buy what they want, and then pay the bank miniscule interest, and thereby mostly avoid taxes because keeping their money technically "tied up", and just borrowing against it, isn't income.

I can understand your view.. but do you really think Billionaires monies is actually liquid? I bet @elonmusk is so leveraged that he is in a sense "broke"; does he have money, yes but, it is all leveraged and/or borrowed against. Being rich is not "Really" Rich nowadays. IDK maybe I'm going too deep hope you see my view......

You might not like to hear it but free school breakfast and lunch will do more for educating children than the 10 Commandments or prayer in school.
