@DavidMthethwa5 @hlovo_ This is not true. You are not helpless. It is not only the government that can do something, and that's the point. While I may not agree with the methods, movements like Operation Dudula and that of the Patriotic Alliance have shown that ordinary citizens can effect change!

@hlovo_ True but all this energy put towards foreigners should be put towards the government. They're the only one that can actually do something with the big immigration problem we have in South Africa.

You work at Deloitte so you don’t have to worry about losing your job to a foreigner willing to take a 50% pay-cut. This is something the waiter at your favourite restaurant has to deal with. This is what the construction worker next to your office park has to deal with. The car guard outside “Pantry” has to deal with this. It’s not a coincidence that many of these jobs are taken by foreigners. You live in a gated community with 24-hour surveillance so you can sleep peacefully at night. You don’t live in central Joburg next to buildings hijacked by foreigners that house drug dealers/users and criminals. You buy your fresh food at Woolies so you rarely have to worry about your food being spoiled. Your child isn’t sick because they bought repackaged rotten food at the Somalian spaza shop down the road. This is why I’ve been enjoying the content from the digital nomads infiltrating Cape Town. You didn’t see an issue when poor people were complaining about the effects of mass-immigration. But now that your favourite coffee spot is charging you R70 for a latte and your rent has almost doubled—now the “government has to do something” 😂 That’s why it’s very important for you to shut TF up if you come from a place of privilege.

I'm accustomed to having my door opened, my chair pulled, my vases filled, my prawn shells removed for me. It's always a shock to my system when I meet men who don't do this.

When you watch a match involving the Springboks or even a franchise like the Bulls, there is a certain predictability to the operation , the access, movement, timing, flow. Everything works. Yes not perfectly, but with a level of consistency that respects the paying spectator. Then comes the SOWETO Derby . Kaizer Chiefs vs Orlando Pirates and suddenly the basics are overlooked . You are bound to be subjected to congestion and all manner of frustrations that give a sense that the system is reacting rather than managing. Before anyone reaches for the usual explanations crowd size, passion, intensity nyhwe nyhwe kwatsha kwacima o kele wabona yada-yada; none of the above are new variables. They are known conditions. Which means they should be anticipated and planned for and thus not used as excuses. Why do similar venues, under the oversight of bodies like the Premier Soccer League, deliver such inconsistent experiences depending on the code being played? If one code, in this case rugby, can get the fundamentals right more often than not, then the blueprint exists. Is this a coordination failure, a standards problem, or are we simply accepting soccer fans aren’t worthy of a beautiful out of stadium user experience??

Why is attacking prowess given an edge over defensive brute in a title race when both are equally important aspects of the game?

@NorthBankNadim Defending champs. Anything other than winning the league again would be regression. Arsenal have spent way more than Liverpool have in the last 5 years, with nothing to show for it.

In general I think we whine too much about every little call when we lose. And it was a well reffed game imo. But this angle shows that without a big pull of the shirt, Haaland can’t get to this ball. I think if a ref looks at that again there’s no way the goal is allowed.

SUMMARY OF THE PREMIER LEAGUE The season will start, everyone will spend money to compete with Man City, by April, they all support City to defeat Arsenal because of their own failure. Too funny init? 😭

Aesthetics and add-on frills I agree. But he hard core engineering the very life and soul of a car that carries it for years and enables it durability it's the long standing German engineering. Even these so call Chinese engines in German cars are manufactured/powered to the German specifics and they have while they are Chinese owner and will have to meet the German standards to be able to run German cars.

To be fair baby girl, none of those managers were in the depths of despair as we were. You seem to forget we were utterly SHIT. Watford had 33 fucking shots against us. We were shit. I always give Arteta 2 years of grace for club building. He however has no excuse to not win the title this year. If we don't, we would have absolutely BOTTLED IT. But I believe we are gonna win the league this season.

Sorry, no manager was backed at a big club for 7 consecutive years without winning the title once. The longest was Alex Ferguson in the 90s and he won in the 6th year. Pep Guardiola — won La Liga with Barcelona in his 1st season (2008-09). Didn’t just win the league. Won the treble. José Mourinho — won the Primeira Liga with Porto in his 1st season (2002-03). Won the Champions League the following year. Carlo Ancelotti — won Serie A with AC Milan in his 3rd season (2003-04). Won the Premier League with Chelsea in his 1st season there. Antonio Conte — won Serie A with Juventus in his 1st season (2011-12). Won the Premier League with Chelsea in his 1st season there too. Jürgen Klopp — won the Bundesliga with Borussia Dortmund in his 3rd season (2010-11). Won the Premier League with Liverpool in his 5th season. Diego Simeone — won La Liga with Atlético Madrid in his 3rd season (2013-14), built from scratch on a tight budget. Arsène Wenger — won the Premier League with Arsenal in his 2nd season (1997-98). Zinedine Zidane — took over Real Madrid mid-season in 2016 and won the Champions League within 4 months. The pattern is clear. The elite win early. Some win immediately. None of them hid behind the word “project” for 7 years! If you know of anyone other than Mikel Arteta, give us the name.

This statement lacks a lot of nuance. Which other manager? Are you aware of the managers who have passed through the premier league in the past 7 years …who spent waay more and never even smelt the league…or second? Conte, Tuchel, Carlo Ancelloti, Jurgen Klopp won it once (only ONCE)…Unai Emery can’t even hold down top 4, Moyes and a host of others. Which Manager would have won you two titles? Slot? The one who’s going to leave next season??? Arteta built this club up from the ground…with little resources…a club in shambles that couldn’t sell a player for even 20million…I don’t think you know where we were coming from sha. Spent money on defence first, then went to midfield..only last summer did we really spend on forwards…Gyokeres, Madueke and it wasn’t still enough…(we need more wingers) Compare for one second the price tag of the forwards of all other top 6 clubs…(Pep went out and got Semenyo in January) You always say this 7 years without nuance like you are an oppo fan… When Arteta came here we hadn’t even gone to champions league for 7 years…you are talking about Title. We just wanted to breathe…our First title challenge came years earlier than we expected…and instead of lauding that beautiful attempt by that club…the entire football world termed it bottling but this club wasn’t even supposed to be in contention for the TITLE. He built this club from the ground up…invested in defence first (that’s why our defence is so strong)…midfield was second and now he’s just had time to invest in attack…and it’s fine to get a few players wrong…he’s one of the few coaches who has always utilized almost if not all of his signings. So please put some respect on his name!! I’m not saying he’s infallible but in your attempt to criticize him….DO NOT RIDICULE HIM and the wonderful job he’s done for this club!!

Kabelo (Kasi Flavor) had a similar design(s) to F1 and we called him out to improve his designs but I’m not seeing the same energy or outrage when it come to old school basic designs. Or kuya ngo kuthi ubani? Honestly how much would you pay for F1? Come on🙃
