Hello @PoliceMv,
I’ve been facing ongoing harassment from a police officer named Ibrahim Thasneem. On one occasion, he approached me with a photo of me and said, “thee haifa dho.” When I questioned his right to take my photos, his attitude immediately changed. He claimed he knew me from Twitter and mentioned that I apparently have a politically influential brother.
He then threatened to tow my vehicle and took me to the tow yard. After I signed the tow form, he called and said he would let me leave with my vehicle if I apologized to him. I refused. Later, he came back, tore up the form, and asked me to leave.
Since then, he has continued to harass me and misuse the power given to him. This is intimidation and abuse of authority.
Is this happening because I’m a woman, or because I refuse to voice support for the current government?

I am very happy and thrilled to know that you guys have resolved the internal issues within MDP.
Thank you @ibusolih @abdulla_shahid and @mpgapo for your incredible efforts and for showing patience and leadership. I’m sure all the MDP members look forward to seeing an even more organised and far more powerful opposition in the future.
However, let me be very clear on this point.
If anyone in @MDPSecretariat agrees to anything undemocratic or anything that fuels narcissism & pathological ego, we will fight against that cancer until the very last moment and we will make sure it is defeated forever.
I’m saying this because we all know very well that whatever the hell happened after the LCE 2026 inside MDP was purely the result of narcissism and an incredible level of ego that has plagued the minds of certain people.
MDP members will never tolerate this.
