@Chord_O_Calls Now that I have drafted over 50 drafts, these 2 and eomer and trickery are the only ones I would put above top commons in the format, my order is trickery=nazgul>eomer>fff

Jumped the gun on this one a bit, Fell Beast is excellent, but this set is full of ridiculous uncommon. These two have taken overtaken Fell Beast for me and are better than most of the Rares/Mythics

@lordtupperware I think both make one a better drafter personally if used correctly, drafting is all about archetype and color strength since every card's strength is directly impacted by this that said I partly agree, a lot of people take it too literally.

I think all the “best/worst archetype” and “best/worst color” discourse surrounding limited formats makes people worse drafters This knowledge doesn’t help you nearly as much as you think and puts blinders on to miss underrated strategies and synergies

@Chord_O_Calls Just dont think, 4 hours a day is rookie numbers

I’ve been really tired the past week and found quite pinpoint why. Then I realize that it’s almost certainly streaming MOM drafts for 4 hours a day😅 This format is super mentally taxing! In a good way though!

@Sierkovitz Main point being I guess that what does this kind of a graph show? Can you draw any conclusiosn from this? I would say no this graph is useless so thats why im asking you 😆

@Sierkovitz For example UW has I believe 13 commons that perform better than the deck on avg and RG has only 8 (I might be wrong in these numbers but anyway UW has more) so maybe RG is actually more dependant on high rarity? Maybe UW or other decks are built wrong? I hav no clue tbh.

If you wanted a worrying graph about ONE draft - here is one. Most color pairs don't have commons that perform OK. I usually use a 56% GiH WR cut off to measure OK cards. In ONE 6 color pairs have <10 commons that have that WR. In BRO it was 0, DMU - 1, NEO - 2. 1/x

@Sierkovitz Im gonna go for 15-20% should be, prob not gonna be that much for average players. Im gonna go for 30% when im drafting like I did get to 90% for monoR in NEO and I think mono decks will be very real.

Unsolicited hot take for BRO drafts: 5% of the decks should be mono.

@Chord_O_Calls @NEO_MTG Okay how is green a difficult pizzle to solve Alex, I thought you knew what aggro decks look like? I agree about white tho and I see no world in which elite is good, its just mostly a worse phalanx witv less support aka def not good if something magical isnt going on.

@NEO_MTG Yeah white and to a lesser extent green are the biggest puzzles to crack Imo. I would love to be wrong about Elite!

Just listened to what is imo the best pre-set content out there as usual from @Chord_O_Calls and @lordtupperware, and again as usual I agree with a huge majority of it. They changed my mind on a few cards which is nice, but I want to take a minute to talk about white. 1/2
