From April 27–30, NCCK convened its CA Phase III team in Makutano, Mwala, to review progress, strengthen planning, and mobilize resources for the next phase. An exposure visit to a model farm capped the session, reinforcing climate-smart agriculture solutions.

NCCK Upper Eastern hosted Stephan Lutz (Mwendo Consulting) for a 2-day field visit (Apr 7–8) across Nkondi, Marimanti & Gatunga to learn from farmers implementing Conservation Agriculture, with support from @Foodgrains. VSLA insights highlighted stronger farmer resilience.

CA staff completed a 4-day Integrated Pest Management (IPM) training (Mar 30–Apr 2, 2026) led by John Mbae. They gained hands-on skills in pest ID, field scouting, eco-friendly controls & making biopesticides (neem, garlic, chili, tephrosia). #IPM #ConservationAgriculture
