@Mr_PeterM When ever I hear this chat on why you bought a 1.4Tsi or X3 or swift or 320i and c200. I ask myself this: "what does this person drive before they ask me such nonsense?" In my world, people who buy cars they afford do not ask that nonsense!

@bontlekhanye @TheMiningGuySA The severity of accidents is also due to cars staying on the right lane, both south and north bound cars. We make a single file on the right lane because of the slow trucks on the left. We need our train operations to return and reduce trucks on the roads.

@TheMiningGuySA I think concrete barriers would be effective. Wider roads or more lanes seem to have more frequent and reckless accidents. Concrete barriers could also help reduce the severity of collisions and minimise casualties.

The N1 between Kranskop and Polokwane continues to claim lives year after year, yet there seems to be little to no action from government. This road urgently needs to be widened, or at the very least, fitted with proper concrete barriers.

The paraffin situation is sad, there needs to be more public discussions to educate everyone on the situation and transition to gas.

@alizwa_mendy @paleass Paraffin does not have fuel levy….how do you suggest plan is made for it ? You do know the R3 that was cut from the petrol price hike is coming from the general fuel levy not the actual petrol price right ?

Guys PARAFFIN is going up by R11,67!!!!!? Why is it quiet???? The people who use paraffin are already struggling and now they must suffer even more? WE CANT BE QUIET! If motorists can get relief, so should the people whose livelihoods depend on paraffin!

@alizwa_mendy The goverment doesnt apply any fuel levy to paraffin. There is no levy to reduce. Government has always been considerate for the gogo's using paraffin. Are u asking the goverment to provide a product at a lower price than they buy it? That value chain will collapse.

@kay_mahapa People forget this is financial decision (cost vs benefits) not an emotional or a trust me broe. In this economy you are better off puting any extra money you have on that car loan cos you aren't getting any better rate if you invest it.

So many people say this but my understanding of financial maths tells me otherwise. Financing a R500K car at R500K vs financing a R500K car at R400K car are 2 different things and it does affect your debt, instalment & interest paid. Am I missing something? Genuine ask

Which masters has less work? Course work or full dissertation? The master's I want to register for has 11 modules including research and I don't have the energy for it.

@__Tshepo Agreed, this is the primary problem leading to overcrowding. Fix the turnstile gates and it will improve access control. Each ticket allows one swing of the gate.

Also, we need to deal with “ke tla kreya ticket ko stadium” If you don’t have a ticket, don’t go anywhere near the stadium.

@Sentletse Parking behind someone is a power move, people who park you in underestimate your response. Crashing the car is an escalation, the perpetrators folded when they met a bugger ego.

When asked to move your car, just do it.
