Many people enjoy the holiday staple of eggnog. The NDA Dairy team is working hard this holiday season, from testing milk samples at NDA’s lab, to going to dairy farms to inspect farms themselves. Our Dairy team works nonstop to keep dairy products safe.

NDA’s goal to keep all livestock healthy by checking health certificates and monitoring for disease. Our state vets have given the all clear to Santa and his reindeer, issuing them a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection. Santa is ready to deliver presents to Nebraska's children!

NE State Veterinarian, Dr. Dudley, attended the NE Cattlemen’s Annual Meeting in Kearney. Dr. Dudley addressed cattle producers and updated them on diseases of concern to NE. He also updated them on NDA’s emergency livestock disease preparedness activities over the last few years
