Today I finished my new mural in Tirana. Albania is my 44th country where I have had the opportunity to work as an artist in the last 15 years.

The mural in Leeuwarden was created as part of the Museum Murals project, an initiative of Mauritshuis, in collaboration with Fries Museum and with the support of Writer's Block - street art organisation The mural was inspired by embroidery.

Biscari, formerly home to a lace school, as well as the collection at the local museum, I came across a distinctive ornament called “riccioli e rose.” A beautiful doily featuring this motif served as the inspiration for my mural.
