Using the conditions argument against this Indian side is hilarious when they’ve literally won back-to-back world cups, the last in VASTLY different conditions. They’re just the best white ball side in the world. By a distance.

It’s difficult to compare him with the legends from the past because cricket has evolved immensely and the skillsets required today are vastly different. But yes, he undoubtedly is. The best I’ve ever seen.

Bumrah is cricket’s biggest cheatcode. In a landscape dominated by batters, the most imapactful player in the sport is a bowler. And it isn’t even close.

All of this goes out of the window if New Zealand get rolled over for less than 200. I do agree that I’d rather watch cricket on a surface a bit more balanced, but it’s quite obvious that India are by far the best t20 side around.

India desperately needed that huge final over to get past 250. Feels funny even typing this, but they looked well on course for an easy 270. Could’ve been interesting if NZ kept it back until the end, but no way this gets chased.
