Well he went and did it this time. The war mongering sociopath with crimes to hide. Regime change is never a path easily travelled, regardless of the moral and legal rule of international law. If legacy is what you’re after, you’ve created one - though not the one you think.

I don’t know Margaret but she just stopped me in the street and said “I’ve seen what’s going on and it’s not right. You should feel safe in this country and I want you to know I’m not racist.” You might think how can I possibly make a difference? She did in her own little way.

@DrNeenaJha Well I'm proud you're here Neena, and your family. And I'm proud that the majority have spoken to say; this country is built around acceptance.

I’d like to talk about my Dad. He came to England from India at age 17. He had a brutal childhood- he’s refused to talk us kids about it but part of his childhood involved living on the streets as a child in India Coming to England saved his life. Literally. He has worked - shop keeper, then taxi driver & has contributed to tax his whole life here. He refused to charge people for his taxi service when they visited hospitals, students who felt unsafe walking at night etc. He worked 7 days a week, and we lived month to month. My Mum, at the age of 64, still works full time as an insurance broker & has also paid tax her entire working life. My Dad retired at the age of 70 during the pandemic as he was diagnosed with cancer. Thankfully he’s currently in remission 🙏 As soon as he was given the “all clear” he could finally pursue his dream - to feed those in need. At the age of 70 he asked my Mum to teach him how to cook. Every Tuesday he buys food to feed about 100/200 homeless people a week. He wakes up at 3am every Wednesday to cook the food, package & distribute it with a team of volunteers who also provide them warm clothing, cut their hair etc with nothing but love. The volunteers are from all backgrounds, all colours, all ethnicities as are the people they serve. He is the kindest, most compassionate person I know. To have people judge him based on the colour of his skin breaks my heart beyond measure.

Anyone else woken up this morning to listen anxiously to the news and feeling relieved, prouder of who we are, and just a bit more disdainful of the Tommy Robinsons and Elon Musks of this world? Well done decency, well done the police

@katylcowan @creativeboom The whole thing is just so sad. And the first thing I saw when I opened it just a moment ago after many many months, was something inciting hatred. A nasty poisonous video.

I’ve spent the past month playing The Good Fairy. I always said the same thing at the end of the show. This is me saying it for the last time. A moment I won’t forget in a rush xx

@TiceRichard @reformparty_uk Oh give over. All you'll do is sow division with rather unkind politics if your tweets are a barometer of behaviour. I so wish for a kinder more states'man' style of politics. Serious politics. That's what the electorate really really deserves. Not this. Not this.

@TiceRichard You know what Richard, please, please, have more respect for people. And their views. You clearly are learning nothing about the world right now. Don’t name throw, because people who vote for your party come from all sides of this conversation. Humility from a ‘winning’ side.

The 🐘 in room #Brexit In 2016 Britain 🇬🇧 was persuaded that we had no choice but to harm ourselves, losing rights, freedoms and prosperity. The 26% of the U.K. population who voted for it cheered it along but the 74% who didn’t were forced to accept it.

@TiceRichard Again, a lie. They’re scrapping the inhuman Rwanda plan, it said nothing to do with boats. Two words Richard, and not the ones I’d really like to use in a family show. Meat tax. Tell us facts, not headlines. Facts please. Please.

@rickygervais You know Ricky, you are many many things when it comes to acting. And this is one of the most moving pieces I've seen from you. Sure, I'm a dog owner, but boy did this hit me. Well done you. Really, well done.

If you didn't manage to get tickets to see my record-breaking #Armageddon show live, (there were over 18 million ticket requests apparently), don't worry. Netflix have bought it, so you can watch it from the comfort of your home anywhere in the world after I've finished touring.
