You’re just missing the point, we can all admit this is really cool and also say EA is delivering a bad NHL game with a game mode that’s not ready but they can’t delay it any longer.

Since Connected Franchise doesn’t have a built-in fantasy draft (yet), I spent the last few days building a FREE custom draft website that lets leagues run their own fantasy draft before starting a franchise

@Nealerrr @Maze_Jolt Although that’s a work around, why should we have to use a work around? EA told us they’ve waited so long to bring it back because they didn’t want to push out an unfinished version. Well here we are, with a mode where you have to hold a draft outside of the game, then create it

No fantasy draft feature yet for Connected Franchise. Obviously disappointing and hopefully something that will be added in a later patch.
One work around you can use for now is custom rosters. Hold a draft on a spreadsheet, create the rosters from that draft and add them in.

Some bad news for #NHL27 Connected Franchise… No Fantasy Draft and as we predicted no player development. With the mode essentially being one season, I think Fantasy Draft is a must to help even out the teams and add some excitement to each playthrough

@HipJoeyD @BioDizaster My man it took 15 minutes to go from screen to screen in the original GM Connected. It was extremely flawed. Most leagues lasted less than 20 games of the first season.

@Nealerrr @BioDizaster You all talk like Gm connected was some awful broken mode. It wasn’t, it was a first of its kind honestly. And if it was so flawed and broken nobody would be demanding it for the last decade. You guys continue to miss the mark and the fans are over it.

@BioDizaster That stuff is absolutely coming. Believe me, CF is a massive priority for the team. They want to make it perfect so it lasts forever unlike GM Connected which was incredibly flawed.

@Nealerrr Awesome to hear. A lot of my friends have one of each so that's good to hear. Only thing that I wish would happen is the player aging and progression/regression type of stuff. Sure we can multiple years but every year will feel like the first is all. Hoping that's changed

@Nealerrr @TMLJaysNiners No ai teams/trading makes this a complete failure and waste. Game mode will be dead after a week. If there's no crossplay for it that's even worse.
