As a college basketball fan, I had a much better time watching Wichita State and Wyoming go down to the wire in the NIT tonight than I am watching Texas and NC State in the First Four.

I've met a lot of really great fans from other teams in Vegas and something that they all have in common is they don't cheer for the Lobo's. Maybe it's a strength in numbers thing but they have a general entitlement and rudeness that the other fan bases don't.

New Mexico has been in the Mountain West for 27 years. Utah State for just 13. I think it's safe to say that Utah State would have evened that number up or surpassed that total in 14 years.
