@mds_044 @Nealtee3 @veefriends I won’t speak for Neal but I’d imagine that there being 40 makes this way less of a chase ultimately. I think the fact that it’s such an “exclusive item” with all the gemstones and such. That’s what makes this the chase.

Your all good md. No the confusion comes from the choice of product for this release. B4 josh clarified that the pin was out of 40 and not 1/1 like I thought a few years ago. Having to put such an ultra rare chase and 10 of them at that, into 1 product is just a little telling imo.

@Nealtee3 @veefriends There’s 40 total of these made and they’ll find their way into products over the years. So the one I pulled was not a 1/1. It was just the first of 40. The sticker was the first ever 1/1 black cat sticker though!

@JCourageFIT Yeah but thats exactly what they said about the 1st chests was the value and limited availability. Look at saphire boxes asking price 5-6k with base singles reselling for $50. Idk time will tell, just pondering from all angles.

the last chests i 100% agree with, and the fact they cant sell now for under 200 is telling. These have 17 items in them (a clear effort to make the higher per-box number more "agreeable"?) along with more chase items in what will DEFINATELY be a more scarce product. I;m betting there will be well under 2k total (unless VF holds 1k+ themselves) thus making the hype around these super easy. If one can afford to sit on $3k worth of product for 8 months, I firmly believe the payout will be worth it. I won't be one of those people unfortunately

My thoughts on the “inner workings” of why treasure chest boxes. I’ll add: No pictures in the blog which is very not like them tells me they haven’t finalized/produced the stickers yet because they want to know how many HERO boxes sell before getting things into actual production. Sort of a forced rarity of a product launch that still brings in a decent influx of capital and allows them loads of feedback for the next couple drops they plan to do. Gary did his rounds responding to people’s concerns and thoughts as he does so damn well, making sure everyone knows him and the team are just working things out and there’s tons of stuff to balance on their end (I love him for this by the way. No other ceo does this and it’s clear to me WHY he does it and I respect the hell out of it). Read the re-post below and there’s a final thought in comments.
